The best steak ever!

We absolutely love steak.  My husband and I joke that our kids have high tastes as my daughter can pick out a perfect steak, easily.   Hubby had a great way to cook steak explained to him by a client who is a chef.  This is what we came up with.

Grilled Ribeye:

Ribeye Steaks
Texas Roadhouse Seasoning
Butter

Preheat grill on high.   You want it as hot as possible. Sprinkle the steaks with a generous amount of seasoning on each side.  (leave them on the counter for about 30 minutes ideally they should be room temperature, but I don't ever remember to pull them out that early!)

Place the steaks on the grill, set a timer for 4 minutes and then turn them 90 degrees.  After another 4 minutes, flip over, After another 4 minutes flip 90 degrees and cook about 4 minutes more.
Take the steaks off the grill. Immediately place small pats of butter over the entire steak to moisten and give flavor.  Allow to sit for 10 minutes.   We like ours medium- medium rare.   If the steaks are about 1-2 inches thick they should be perfectly done at this timing.

We have a Solaire Infared Grill which cooks very hot!   So if you are using one of these Cook the steaks two minutes on each side on high, two and a half minutes each side on low with the lid down.
Do everything else the same!

Enjoy!
